Over 3 amazing days we photographed Warwick and Stephanie at their Engagement Shoot in the city, their Wedding at Eastside Church and their Bollywood inspired reception at a local Indian restaurant the day after becoming Husband and Wife.

On a beautiful day we celebrated with Lauren and Trent and their families at All Smiles Sorrento, a beautiful location for their wedding.

The Wedding of Kara and Vic

On a hot afternoon after a day of heavy rain we spent the day with Kara and Vic at their wedding which was at Kellybrook Winery in Wonga Park.

What we thought was going to be a wet weather and indoor wedding turned out to be the garden wedding that Kara and Vic had organised, a great day shared with their family and friends.

The Farmer wants a Photo…….

No its not a wacky new television show but last Saturday we spent the afternoon with the Farmer family, photographing three great children, their Mum and Dad and their 2 grandmothers who were visiting the family.

Our location was the Berwick Botanical Gardens and after such a hot start to the day the cool change came right on time with some great overcast light to get some natural light family portraits.

Urban Grooves

Just before Christmas we headed into some of favourite parts of the City to photograph the winner of our Portrait session from a charity fundraiser we photographed for the Anti Cancer Council.

The brief was to visit some graffiti laneways for some portraits with heaps of fun. Sounded great to me as I got to test out some new lighting effects and here is a sample of what we were able to produce.

I love the innocence and expression of children. The way they look at someone they don’t know, a reaction to a new toy or a gift, their spontaneity creates moments behind the camera that cannot be repeated.

Recently at a wedding their were some gorgeous kids who we could not resist photographing. We don’t mind at all playing the role of a big kid and getting down to their level and exploring life from their perspective. Family Portraits in the Yarra Valley

Christmas Message

And what a BIG YEAR it has been.

We have met so many wonderful people, witnessed so many couples become husband and wife, helped people promote their businesses and been to countless family celebrations.

The times spent behind the camera in recent months have been amazing and for some of you don’t be surprised if there is a Luke Munro Photography gift under your Christmas Tree that your family has created for you.

We have been working round the clock in the past month to meet the Christmas deadlines and now can stop for a moment and reflect on what has been a remarkable year.

Both Bernadette and I want to say a huge thank you to the many people who have supported us through the year, our team, and all those who have followed this dream become a reality, especially whose support and friendship we value so greatly, we couldn’t do what we do and love it so much without you guys.

We also have loved getting to know our clients and giving them memories they will treasure for many years to come. This Christmas will be a first for many of you, maybe the first as husband and wife or parents so enjoy the time together, it goes way too fast……..

The New Year sees us on the road in all kinds of directions including Eildon and Sorrento so we will have a very short break to recharge the batteries and launch into the excitement 2011 will bring.
